从事土木工程材料的教学与科研工作，主讲《材料工程基础》、《土木工程材料》等专业基础课和专业课。主持广东省自然科学基金等项目，发表论文18篇，其中SCI收录6篇，EI收录4篇，获得国家专利5项。主要研究方向为新型建筑材料与建筑节能。
